Google Find Hub
The Pixel must be signed in to the Google account used in Find Hub, visible in Google Play, and protected with a screen lock for offline-network features.
Open the official Google Find Hub service
Settings to prepare on the phone
Settings > Security & privacy > Device finders > Find HubSettings > Security > Find Hub > Find your offline devicesSettings > Google > All services > Theft protection
- Turn on Allow device to be located.
- Choose an offline finding level and keep Bluetooth available where the option requires it.
- Set a PIN, pattern, or password.
Use Google Find Hub on Google Pixel
Go to Google Find Hub on a trusted device and sign in with the Google account already connected to the missing phone. Select the correct device. Available actions can include Play sound, Mark as lost, and Factory reset. Google requires appropriate prior account, device visibility, finding settings, power, and connectivity; an available location can be approximate or old.
Supported functionality
- Find Hub can ring, mark lost, show available location, and factory reset.
- Supported Pixel models may offer offline finding and Theft protection controls.
Remote lock and erase instructions
Lock the phone
Choose the Pixel in Find Hub, select Mark as lost, and add contact information. Remote Lock may also work when it was enabled with a verified number.
Erase only after considering the tradeoff
In Find Hub device settings choose Factory reset only as a last resort; normal Find Hub location stops after erase.
Offline limitations and important restrictions
Pixel can store encrypted recent locations and participate in the Find Hub network, but results depend on prior settings, power, and nearby network devices.
- Feature names change across Android releases.
- Offline finding is not a guaranteed live location.
- Two-step verification recovery options should be prepared before loss.
SIM, carrier, and IMEI actions
Call the carrier through a verified number to suspend or replace the SIM when account codes or unauthorized use are at risk. Ask for a case reference and device-blocking options.
Where to find the IMEI
Find the Google Pixel IMEI on the original box, receipt, carrier portal, or the device details/settings area of the official finding service when offered. Keep it private and provide it to the carrier or authorities.
SafeMyPhone compatibility on Google Pixel
SafeMyPhone can run on supported Google Pixel Android phones only when it was installed and configured before loss, with required permissions, background operation, and connectivity. Manufacturer power controls may delay or stop alerts.
SafeMyPhone does not replace Google or manufacturer recovery services and cannot retroactively configure a missing phone.
Google Pixel troubleshooting
- If the Pixel is absent, check the first Google account activated on it.
- Check Google Play device visibility and Find Hub settings on another signed-in device.
Privacy and personal safety
Use only official account portals on a trusted device. Never publish a recovery key, live location, IMEI, verification code, or lock-screen PIN. Do not confront a suspected thief.
